Our Commitment to Safeguarding

Young Filmmakers Club is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people. We expect all staff, volunteers, and visitors to share this commitment.

We believe that all children, regardless of age, disability, gender, racial heritage, religious belief, sexual orientation, or identity, have the right to equal protection from all types of harm or abuse.

Safe Environment

  • Secure premises with controlled access

Online Safety

  • Supervised online activities and content creation
  • Secure data handling and storage

Photography & Filming

  • Written parental consent for all filming
  • Clear guidelines on appropriate content
  • Secure storage of student work

Code of Conduct

All staff, volunteers, and participants are expected to:

  • Report any concerns about child welfare immediately
  • Follow all safeguarding policies and procedures
  • Promote an inclusive and supportive environment
  • Respect confidentiality and privacy
